It’s Friday 6pm, you’re on the dance floor with in your right hand a cocktail while your left hand easily follows the beats of the DJ. Sounds good? It even gets better. Today, After Office, the service portal for young professionals, presents its second After Office drinks where you can drink & dance while supporting a project on Pifworld: Music Music Mayday.
AfterOffice Awareness is a new clubbing concept that aims to increase the awareness on charity projects. Every two months, they organize an AfterOffice Awareness party at a different spot. The previous party raised 750 euro for the Water For School Kids project in Gambia. This edition will give opportunities to creative youngsters in Uganda through the Music Mayday Project.
Music Mayday gives talented youth access to a free training program in exchange for delivered services to the community (peer-to-peer education). They are assisted in finding internships, jobs or raising an income as entrepreneur. AfterOffice creates the opportunities for children in Uganda by funding half of the entrance fee to the Music Mayday Project.
